Afesis made a submission of Comments on White Paper for Human Settlements to the National Department of Human Settlements.
“From addressing challenges like informal settlements to improving access to land and affordable housing and revamping dilapidated infrastructure, this white paper lays the foundation for tackling complex issues faced in the sector. Therefore, it is critical for all the stakeholders involved to continue to make their voices heard to ensure this paper shapes policies, allocates resources, and prioritises programmes and strategies that comprehensively advocate for inclusive human settlements solutions and ultimately ‘leaves no one behind’.”
