Afesis-corplan continues to engage government on the Managed Land Settlement concept that it developed (and tested) in the last few years. Key in its latest efforts is a meeting held with the chairperson on the Human Settlements committee of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature, Mrs Ndlangisa-Makaula.  In the meeting, the department acknowledged that Managed Land Settlement offered one of the more unique solutions to its efforts aimed at upgrading informal settlements.
